Job description

Essential Functions and Qualifications:
  • Is responsible for the hiring and terminating of all restaurant personnel including the Assistant Managers. Insures appropriate people standards are achieved within human resource guidelines. Must achieve the necessary staffing and scheduling of restaurant to accomplish restaurant goals and standards. Must insure compliance with EEOC and other government regulations.
  • Interviews Assistant Management Candidates in conjunction with Director of Operations.
  • Has a high standard in employee selection.
  • Analyze cost controls and sales trends by monitoring month-end reports and statements.
  • Achieves restaurant budget goals.
  • Monitors employee scheduling to ensure compliance with standards and labor laws.
  • Approves proposed salary increases for restaurant employees.
  • Ensures cash control procedures are enforced
  • Implement local promotions and marketing plans.
  • Monitors sales projections and budget versus actual sales.
  • Recommends local store marketing plans to resolve sales shortfalls.
  • Maintains continuity with current media messages and restaurant marketing efforts.
  • Assures all Assistant Managers have attended appropriate BKC formal training programs.
  • Utilizes crew growth ladder so that restaurant operates with certified positions.
  • Monitors crew training practices.
  • Develop managers through use of personal development plans.
