Position Summary

Greenwater Investments is seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing apartment homes, assisting prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering exceptional customer service to both current and future residents. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent sales skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating positive resident experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and conduct community and apartment tours.

  • Respond promptly to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries.

  • Present the features, amenities, and benefits of the community to prospective residents.

  • Guide applicants through the leasing process, including completing applications, verifying documentation, and preparing lease agreements.

  • Maintain knowledge of current rental rates, floor plans, availability, and community policies.

  • Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into signed leases.

  • Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with current residents by providing outstanding customer service.

  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and ensure a smooth transition for residents.

  • Assist with community marketing efforts, resident events, and outreach activities.

  • Inspect model apartments and common areas to ensure they are clean, attractive, and ready for tours.

  • Work closely with the property management and maintenance teams to address resident needs and ensure a high-quality living experience.

  • Perform other administrative and leasing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.

  • Previous leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or property management experience preferred.

  • Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk the property and climb stairs during apartment tours and inspections.

  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.

  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
