About the Role:
The Learning Experience #175 in East Rutherford, NJ is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Teacher to guide our toddler classroom! In this rewarding role, you'll help shape the early development of young learners in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment. If you love working with little ones and making a big impact, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans for toddlers
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports early childhood development
  • Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
  • Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards
  • Incorporate social-emotional learning, language development, and sensory play into daily routines
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or early education setting
