Job description

A family of four in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced, reliable, and nurturing full-time Nanny / Family Assistant to care for their two young children while helping keep the household running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a native Spanish speaker who will speak exclusively in Spanish with the children, fostering language development through daily interaction. Childcare is the primary responsibility, with light family assistant duties completed during naps or when the parents are caring for the children.
Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, engaging care for two young children, including an infant and toddler
  • Speak exclusively in Spanish with the children throughout the day
  • Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
  • Prepare bottles, meals, and snacks for the children
  • Maintain children's feeding, nap, and daily routines
  • Transport children to classes, activities, and appointments as needed
  • Perform children's laundry and keep bedrooms, playrooms, and belongings organized
  • Prepare simple family meals when time permits
  • Tidy the kitchen and common areas
  • Assist with light household organization and occasional errands
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's daily activities and development

Qualifications
  • Native Spanish speaker required (native Mandarin speakers will also be considered)
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment

  • Able to balance childcare responsibilities with light family assistant duties

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Salary: $35-45 per hour
