Position Information
Job Type Non-Faculty Position Title Administrative Assistant-International Comparative Labor Studies Position Number N00087 Department Sociology Location Morehouse College - Atlanta, GA Position Summary
Assist ICLS faculty and staff by processing the flow information, both coming in (mailing list expansion) and going out (distribution of information, newsletters, and event announcements).
Monitor and organize responses to social media.
Assist with scheduling travel.
Required Qualifications
Entry level position.
Some College.
One year experience in a responsible position.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated time management.
Preferred Education/Experience
Evidence of interest in education.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of computer software.
Proficiency in using three forms of social media.
Ability to work with faculty and staff and manage time to completion.
Physical Demands

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Expansion of, and maintenance of a sorted mailing list.
Distribution of the Collective Magazine on campus and outside,
Daily monitoring of social media and weekly postings.
Booking travel.
Maintenance of ICLS bulletin boards.
Attendance at events to collect contacts and distribute ICLS information .
