Job description

Opportunity:
RN - Correctional Facility Nurse
Job Details:
• Week 1 schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM (24 hours per week)
• Week 2 schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM (24 hours per week)
• 24 hours guaranteed per week
• Perform daily Health Service Unit (HSU) duties including sick call and emergency response
• Collect and respond to Health Service Requests from units
• Triage requests and coordinate the daily schedule
• See sick call patients and manage multiple follow-ups from provider referrals and RN follow-up appointments
• Work as a nurse clinician for general population and restricted housing
• Provide long-term care skills for patients housed inpatient in HSU sick cells, illness, or post-operative recovery care
• Temporarily perform lab duties until a Medical Assistant is hired and trained
• CPR certification required at time of submittal
• Supplemental form required at time of submittal with any requested time off listed
