Position Summary

The Cook Supervisor is a food preparation professional responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and Food Service staff to ensure efficient production and service. This role prepares and supervises the preparation of nutritious, attractive, and flavorful meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service.

The Cook Supervisor helps ensure menu items are properly stocked, prepared according to dietary requirements, and served with excellence to residents, employees, and guests.


QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of food service supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of institutional or healthcare kitchen operations
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills

  • ServSafe Certification
  • Graduate of an approved culinary, food preparation, or cooking technical program
