Job Description
The Demand Planner position is an important role responsible for generating and managing the global demand signal used by downstream supply chain processes to prepare for actual customer demand. Along with using quantitative techniques to manage the baseline demand, the Demand Planner is the integration point for collecting, analyzing, and applying business intelligence from multiple sources. You will manage all facets of the monthly forecasting cycle for assigned products. Also, the Demand Planner will provide leadership for improving best practice plans and will contribute data and decision support analytics to multiple partners. You will report to the Manager, Demand Planning and have a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage quantitative forecast elements by analyzing product demand patterns, trends, and seasonality to select the statistical models and parameters.
  • Manage qualitative forecast elements by guiding collaboration to obtain relevant data and insights on demand.
  • Contribute to new product planning initial forecast estimates; monitor the market response.
  • Manage discontinued items; partner to provide a smooth, cost-effective, phase-out.
  • Monitor performance indicators and perform post period analysis to determine main reasons for error and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead demand planning agreement efforts; confer with management on forecasting assumptions, analysis, and decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports about demand planning process. Provide data and decision support analyses to partners.
  • Work with peers and resources to develop and implement solutions to improve decisions related to demand planning.
  • Provide demand related input to supply counterparts to assist with decisions on strategies deployed, inventory levels, and stocking considerations.
  • Participate as the demand expert for assigned projects for company programs.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting methods with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts.
  • Break down complex data (quantitative and qualitative) into manageable pieces to be used in the forecasting process.
  • Propose new ideas and approaches and bring creative ideas to fruition.
  • Conflict management.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, APO, and MS Excel.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $84,880 - $127,320 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
