Key Responsibilities - Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify discrepancies and trends. - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and obsolescence. - Ensure accurate tracking of all inventory items from receipt to distribution. - Collaborate with various departments to forecast supply needs and manage stock. - Optimize reorder points and safety stock levels based on usage patterns and lead times. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in inventory management. - Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and deliveries. - Assist in the evaluation and selection of new inventory management systems or technologies. - Prepare reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and key performance indicators.
