Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Inventory Management specialist responsible for using their knowledge of warehouse operations, material movements and system transactional knowledge to help our company maintain inventory management from a physical and virtual level, for complete accuracy and ensure compliance with internal processes.
Their duties include reviewing and revising warehouse operations processes, researching and resolving inventory discrepancies with warehouse teams, coordinating with the 3PLs for inventory support, transactional remediation and overall inventory and shipment accuracy, as well as providing training to company employees on how to use the software effectively, and
providing troubleshooting support, as needed.
Role and Responsibilities
• Support warehouse management, on process performance and provide issue resolution documentation for re-occurring virtual processes.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Utilize inventory management software to track product information such as quantities, batch numbers, and expiration dates
• Supports 3PL's, for inventory accuracy, transfer and shipment precision, and issue mitigation and resolution
• Executes strategies to minimize costs, optimize efficiency, and reduce waste
• Prepare inventory reports and present to management
• Address inventory related issues and concerns in a timely manner
• Assist warehouse with inbound and outbound processes to ensure proper inventory management
• Reviews system bin and area maintenance, for overall physical and virtual inventory alignment and accuracy.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Experience in a Manufacturing operations or supply chain environment, preferably in materials management.
• Minimum 1 years of experience working with Manufacturing ERP's - preferably (Syspro, SAP)
• Experience resolving discrepancies within multiple 3PL warehouses is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
• SOP development and training coordination experience preferred.
• Reliable and trustworthy

• A knowledge of Syspro ERP and Translution WMS is a plus
• Proficient in data analysis, reporting tools, and visualization techniques

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The work environment alternates between a cold production setting with concrete floors and an office. This position requires the team member to:
• Sit for an extended period at a computer.
• Stand and walk through the production floor and endure cold temperatures (38 degrees) Cooler/ (-10 degrees) Freezer
• Must occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.
