Job Description

The Inventory Specialist supports the effective management of stock and supplies by maintaining accurate records, assisting with stock audits, and helping to ensure optimal inventory levels. This role relies on strong computer skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with barcode scanning and inventory systems to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing timely data entry into computer systems.
  • Assist with regular stock audits and inventory cycle counts to verify quantities and identify discrepancies.
  • Use barcode scanners and RF scanners to track, receive, and issue inventory items.
  • Support inventory control and inventory management processes to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  • Monitor inventory movements and update records to reflect transfers, adjustments, and usage.
  • Collaborate with the Product Services team to ensure inventory is organized, accessible, and correctly labeled.
  • Help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing records and coordinating with relevant team members.
  • Follow established procedures and inventory system guidelines to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 25% of the time) to support inventory activities at other locations, including being away for up to one week per month.

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $63000.00/yr.
