Job Title: Inventory Management Support B 

Job Location: 3835 E Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, VA 23502

Job Schedule: M-F 5/8 5 days / Week - 8 hours / Day 

Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking Inventory Management Support in Norfolk, VA. This role will be responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, supplies and shipping and assist with other stockroom functions as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives incoming materials etc. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
  • Works under supervision; fully proficient to perform inventory management tasks of moderate difficultly requiring efficiency and sound judgment.
  • Coordinates inventory management concerns within and outside the department on matters involving information sharing, explanation, or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
  • Ship items in accordance with Government contract requirements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be able to secure a Security clearance.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and use material handling equipment such as pallet jack or other powered industrial vehicles.
  • Demonstrate intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds. 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Costpoint or relevant MRP knowledge

The salary range for this role in Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is 36,920.00-58,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
