Our client seeks an Assistant Controller who combines technical expertise with business acumen, enjoys improving processes, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization. The Assistant Controller will oversee financial reporting and accounting operations. The role will manage close cycles, ensure GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support audits.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000/ yr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with public company reporting requirements and regulatory filings.
  • Partner with plant and operations teams on inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance activities.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support audit engagements and maintain strong internal control processes.
  • Drive accounting process enhancements, reporting efficiencies, and ERP optimization initiatives.
  • Provide financial insight to business leaders and support data-driven decision making.
Experience Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience in a public company environment.
  • Background in manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
Education Requirements:
