Job description

Rental Inspector (Heavy Construction Equipment)  

South Florida Caterpillar dealership seeking a Rental Inspector. Individual chosen will be responsible for the inspection of various heavy equipment product lines. Duties include but not limited to, damage inspections (TA1), performing basic maintenance tasks, testing the safety and operational capabilities of all rental equipment, software updates, track inspections, and assisting with equipment walk arounds. The position requires the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment repairs. Assist with loading/unloading of equipment from trailers.  Must have a valid driver’s license, with a clean record. Must be a high school graduate. Continued education will be required for proficiency and ability to introduce/demonstrate features and technology on the Caterpillar BCP and GCI product lines. Personable and excellent customer service. Safety conscious attitude toward all assigned tasks. Ability to perform tasks independently without direct supervision. Able to lift 40lbs.
