The Industry 4.0 Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of smart manufacturing systems and processes. This role focuses on integrating advanced technologies such as IoT, automation, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cyber-physical systems to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and innovation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for digital transformation.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Industry 4.0 solutions, including IoT devices, automation systems, and digital twins, to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Develop and deploy data analytics platforms to monitor real-time performance, predict maintenance needs, and improve decision-making
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements using Industry 4.0 technologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency
  • Work with AI, IT, operations, and engineering teams to align Industry 4.0 initiatives with business goals
  • Provide training to staff on new systems and technologies, ensuring smooth adoption and operation
  • Stay updated on emerging Industry 4.0 trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements
  • US citizen or green card holder per client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience on Connected Factory projects, in specific - solutions for Industry 4.0
  • Inductive Automation - Ignition Certification (expired is acceptable)
  • Demonstrate excellent ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with customers at multiple levels, including those external to the organization
  • Experience developing in higher-level programming languages such as C#/.NET, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or others
  • Experience in IIoT architectures involving Hybrid Cloud, MQTT, and device orchestration
  • Experience working databases and database design, writing medium to complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
  • Ability to understand PLC logic and programming

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $75,000 - $125,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor.
