About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Principal Compensation Consultant to lead complex compensation consulting engagements and advise senior HR and business leaders on workforce and compensation strategies.

This role is ideal for a compensation consulting professional with 8+ years of experience who can lead large-scale projects, develop compensation strategies, manage executive-level client relationships, coach consulting teams, and contribute to business development.

You will help organizations design compensation programs that support talent attraction, retention, performance, and business objectives while using analytics, technology, and market data to deliver practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale compensation consulting projects from strategy through implementation.
  • Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses completed by project teams.
  • Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs aligned with client business and talent objectives.
  • Advise senior management and HR leaders on pay strategy, market competitiveness, job architecture, and compensation program design.
  • Support incentive compensation and total rewards program design and analysis.
  • Evaluate compensation market data, survey information, and workforce analytics to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Apply compensation technology, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve consulting solutions and client outcomes.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Present compensation findings, recommendations, and strategies to executive-level audiences.
  • Coach and develop junior consultants and review project deliverables for quality and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop new business.
  • Support proposals, presentations, thought leadership, and other business development activities.
  • Stay current on compensation trends, regulatory developments, technology, and emerging workforce practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in compensation consulting, compensation management, total rewards, or related HR advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in compensation strategy and consulting.
  • Experience leading multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Compensation strategy and pay structures
    • Market pricing and compensation benchmarking
    • Job architecture
    • Incentive compensation and plan design
    • Compensation technology
    • Market and survey data analysis
    • Applicable compensation regulations and compliance considerations
  • Proven ability to advise senior executives, HR leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong client relationship management and consulting skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to coach team members and manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
  • Willingness to work at least 3 days per week in an office or client environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading compensation engagements for global or multinational organizations.
  • Experience with business development, proposal development, or expanding client relationships.
  • Advanced compensation analytics experience.
  • Experience with compensation management or survey management platforms.
  • Experience using AI-enabled compensation tools or technology.
  • Experience developing compensation thought leadership, methodologies, or innovative consulting solutions.
  • Experience with complex executive, broad-based, or incentive compensation programs.
