Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 20 years. You may ask whatโ€™s in it for you and we will tell you support from the owners, continuous training and learning opportunities, career growth, competitive pay rates, and an atmosphere of appreciation.

Looking to staff a part-time caregiver for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The position is available to start on July 27. The client uses a Hoyer lift, so experience with safe transfers is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Current CNA license
  • Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
  • Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
  • Assist with medication reminders
  • Assist with ambulation
  • Monitor BP and glucose levels
