The ideal candidate will work collaboratively under the mentorship of two board-certified pain management specialists, delivering high-quality care in our state-of-the-art Surgical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting various types of chronic pain, utilizing comprehensive interviews and physical examinations to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Document patient interactions and services accurately in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Order and interpret necessary lab work, imaging studies, and referrals, collaborating closely with attending physicians to refine diagnostic and treatment strategies.
  • Assist the attending staff in gathering data to evaluate the efficiency of treatment protocols, implementing modifications based on patient feedback to enhance quality of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding the results of their diagnostic tests and clearly articulate treatment goals and strategies.
  • Manage refill requests for non-controlled pain medications, maintaining continuity of care for patients under our supervision.

The primary focus will be on patients managing chronic pain, which often requires sensitive communication and a deep understanding of their individual struggles. You will engage with a diverse demographic, including individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet each patient’s unique needs. Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid state license as a Physician Assistant.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in performing phlebotomy and other clinical procedures.
  • Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in computer systems, particularly in a Windows environment.
  • Capable of working independently while also embodying team-oriented values.
