Position Overview :
Join ComForCare Home Health Care, where you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Our dedicated team is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our clients, making every day meaningful and fulfilling.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Medication Reminders and health monitoring as directed.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping/errands and light housekeeping.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families for better care outcomes.
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure each client's specific needs are met, and report changes in health status.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
  • Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
  • Reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law.
  • Basic understanding of care practices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
