About the Role: As an HVAC Install Helper, you will work closely with experienced HVAC technicians to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential properties. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on training and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the HVAC industry. HVAC Install Helper Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
  • Gather tools and materials required for HVAC projects.
  • Perform basic tasks such as carrying equipment, running ductwork, and connecting electrical components.
  • Follow instructions from HVAC technicians and learn proper techniques for HVAC installations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and follow HVAC codes and regulations.
  • Learn to troubleshoot basic HVAC system issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Seek opportunities for learning and skill development to grow in the HVAC trade.

HVAC Install Helper Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components is preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
