About JR Capital

JR Capital is a fast-growing equipment financing company in Old Town Scottsdale, providing equipment financing, leasing, and working capital solutions to businesses nationwide. We move fast, solve problems, and value people who take ownership.

The Role

You'll be the right hand to our President, keeping him organized, anticipating what's next, and owning tasks from start to finish. You'll also own key HR, payroll, and administrative functions for the company.

This role is ideal for someone who moves easily between executive support, employee administration, and business operations.

Executive Support

  • Manage the President's calendar, priorities, appointments, and daily workflow
  • Triage email, track follow-ups, and make sure important items don't slip through the cracks
  • Coordinate travel, meetings, reservations, and logistics
  • Coordinate vendors, deliveries, household needs, and ongoing business or personal projects
  • Handle occasional personal errands, appointments, and purchases
  • Anticipate problems and solve them before they land on the President's desk

HR, Payroll & Administration

  • Process and coordinate company payroll
  • Calculate sales commissions and prepare commission reports
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including new-hire paperwork and system access
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
  • Field routine employee questions and assist with day-to-day HR matters
  • Coordinate billing and recurring administrative deadlines
  • Assist with company events, employee communication, and internal projects
  • Support general office and business administration as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion with confidential business and personal information
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate what needs to happen next
  • Ability to prioritize independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Resourceful problem-solver who doesn't need constant direction
  • Comfortable handling both business and personal responsibilities
  • Payroll, HR, executive assistant, operations, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; Paychex, Salesforce, or similar systems are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Direct access to leadership and real ownership of your work
  • Room to grow within the company

This is a full-time, in-office position in Old Town Scottsdale.
