Rural King is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative, project, and operational support to the Human Resources team. This role supports new hire and associate programs, HR projects, confidential documentation, internal communications, and company travel and relocation needs.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Travel & Relocation

  • Coordinate business travel for associates and applicants, including airfare, hotels, rental cars, and accommodations.
  • Research and compare travel options and negotiate hotel direct-bill rates when applicable.
  • Coordinate relocation services, moving expenses, payments, and reimbursements.
  • Monitor company travel credit cards, rewards programs, and applicable discounts.
  • Track and process travel and relocation invoices and documentation.

HR & Project Support

  • Own the First Day Best Day process for new hires and complete new hire check-ins and exit interviews.
  • Provide professional support to associates and assist with HR-related questions and needs.
  • Support companywide and cross-functional HR projects, initiatives, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate meetings, take notes, track action items, and follow up on deliverables.
  • Prepare and format memos, emails, presentations, reports, and other communications.
  • Maintain confidential HR information, reports, and documentation with discretion.
  • Participate in training, workshops, webinars, and other learning opportunities.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that reflect Rural King's Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of administrative, HR, project coordination, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience with HR administration, project support, travel coordination, or relocation services.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar software preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with associates, leadership, vendors, and external partners.
