Job description

Office & Customer Service Assistant — Part-Time

CityParking Inc., a locally owned parking management company, is hiring a friendly, detail-oriented Office & Customer Service Assistant to join our downtown Richmond office. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers — in person, on the phone, and by email — while supporting the office team with light administrative and bookkeeping tasks.

What You'll Do

  • Greet walk-in customers and respond to phone and email inquiries with a professional, service-first attitude.
  • Answer questions and resolve concerns about parking accounts, payments, permits, and citations.
  • Post transactions into the bookkeeping system and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle general office tasks: filing, mailing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Support sales and operations staff as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous customer service experience required; office/admin experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, problem-solving approach to tough conversations.
  • Comfortable with cash handling; bookkeeping or deposit prep experience a plus.
  • Proficient in MacOS and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM or POS experience a plus.
  • Reliable, discreet, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Flexible schedule, up to 25 hours per week.
