Registered Nurse- Contract

Location:ย Robinson, IL
Pay Rate:ย $55.00โ€“$58.00/hr
Schedule:ย Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
Contract:ย 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours:ย 40 hours/week
Experience:ย Minimum 2 years

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse โ€“ Consulting Services for a 13-week contract in Robinson, IL. This role supports specialty consulting areas such as Neuro, ENT, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Cardiac, and Urology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the consulting services department
  • Perform patient assessments, pain reassessments, and clinical screenings
  • Assist physicians with specialty procedures and patient care needs
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up instructions
  • Administer medications according to nursing standards and facility policy
  • Monitor cardiac status, dysrhythmias, hemodynamics, and cardiac stress protocols
  • Document medical history, assessments, medications, and patient care accurately
  • Communicate patient status changes and diagnostic results to providers
  • Support patient safety, hand-off communication, and interdisciplinary care

Requirements

  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience preferred
  • Critical Care or Cardiac Care experience preferred
  • BLS/BCLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Clinic or specialty consulting experience preferred
  • Cerner experience preferred
  • Strong computer, communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently in a team-based environment
