We are seeking a sharp insurance editor to empower consumers with the knowledge needed to make the best insurance-related decisions.As an editor on the insurance team, you'll edit, write and update ratings pages, company profiles and informational content; help conduct search engine optimization research; and use analytics to monitor the performance of our content and make recommendations. You should be a nimble editor who is skilled at juggling several assignments at once. You should be able to work independently and accurately while adhering to deadlines. As part of the job, you'll edit and write car insurance, homeowners insurance, life insurance, pet insurance, renters insurance, specialty insurance and small business insurance content.

Your job will consist primarily of updating and editing, but you should be able to roll up your sleeves and write when needed as well.You will evaluate content for flow, consistency, tone, audience, length, accuracy and SEO. Responsibilities also include updating and maintaining our library of content, fact-checking, writing pages associated with our "Best" lists to ensure error-free work and writing company reviews.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the SEO, Production, Product and Business groups.
