The Group Leader brings energy, warmth, and creativity to the classroom while providing loving care and attentive oversight for children in our daycare setting. This role helps create a joyful, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, play, and experience God's love each day. The Group Leader models positive teaching strategies, maintains consistent classroom expectations, and encourages teammates with a supportive, upbeat, and collaborative spirit.
Experience and Job Skills Required:
  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • ECE Group Leader Certificate required; daycare or preschool experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs. and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move freely throughout the shift (bending, kneeling, squatting).
  • Comfortable learning basic software applications.

Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily classroom activities, including academics, Bible lessons, play, and arts & crafts.
  • Supervise and assist children throughout the day.
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Assist with cleaning and food handling.
  • Other duties as assigned.
