Job Title: Assistant Controller

Location: Sterling, VA (Onsite; potential for up to 2 remote days/week after 6 months)

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $170,000-190,000 base salary + bonus/ownership potential

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilitie

  • sOversee operations accounting for assigned business units and provide leadership to a team of accounting professional
  • sManage revenue and margin recognition, over/under billing analysis, and budget-to-actual project review
  • sIdentify project-level financial risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating major concerns and opportunities to senior leadershi
  • pLead weekly check-ins with staff focused on technical development, performance, and career progressio
  • nParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of the accounting tea
