The Marketing Department is at the forefront of the company, the voice of Avanti, and is responsible for upholding our strong brand identity within the travel industry, as well as maintaining outstanding relationships with our partners, consortia, tourist boards, and travel agents. The successful candidate will build relationships and work intimately with the Director of Marketing, Creative Supervisor, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Specialist.

Job Profile and Description

The Graphic Designer’s role is critical to the success of the Marketing Department and the company as a whole.
We are looking for a creative individual with the ability to continuously deliver high visual impact designs while maintaining the Avanti brand. While working within a fast-paced environment you must be able to deliver and implement fresh ideas generated from team members, remain up to date to with industry leading strategies,
multi-task on a wide variety of projects, interact, communicate and present ideas effectively. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work, a passion for digital marketing, attention to detail, strong knowledge of Adobe Suite tools, and of course, love to travel!


This is a Full-Time position eligible for participation in a comprehensive company benefits & perks program.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and work closely with the Creative Team to develop innovative branded content
  • Execute designs on a range of creative and campaign deliverables for print, social media, email, and web
  • Maintain the consistency and quality of brand identity systems, typography, photography, and other treatments across marketing assets
  • Verbally presents graphic ideas and details with clarity in small groups and team meetings
  • Brainstorm campaign approaches and ideas including cutting edge design and new creative strategies
  • Keep up to date with the most current industry and design trends and translate those into relevant creative results
  • Implement projects by coordinating with Marketing Coordinator and Director of Marketing
  • Deliver visually pleasing editorial layouts for newsletters, emails, digital brochures, social media, and more
  • Work with a wide range of software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, FlipSnack, Monday.com, Hubspot
  • Ensure projects are designed and executed with direction from the Director of Marketing
  • Assist the production of digital publications and layout
  • Collaborate with product team to produce collateral that drives standardization and efficiency
  • Manage overlapping deadlines
  • Create visually pleasing advertisements that ensure collateral is compelling and accurate, including images
  • Maintains and projects the Company's professional reputation.

Requirements, Skills and Experience (Minimal standards to successfully perform the job)

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in related field or equivalent
  • 3+ years with Graphic Design Experience
  • Proficient on Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interest and knowledge in Social Networking, Digital Media and Marketing

  • MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; the four basic arithmetic operations with money; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound (or their metric counterparts).
  • LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words; read at a slow rate; and define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation. Ability to write complex sentences, using proper punctuation, and using adjectives and adverbs. Ability to communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tense and good vocabulary.
