Summary of Job Duties:
Trojan Works Student Workers serve in various roles across campus as Institutional Work-Study (IWS) student workers. Specific duties are designated by the department hiring manager to include but are not limited to customer service, answering phones, and clerical work. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Degree-seeking UA Little Rock students enrolled in classes at the time of application;
  • Eligible to legally work 20 hours per week in the United States;
  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma ;
  • Must be ineligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS);
  • Required to major in Graphic Design at UA Little Rock;
  • Have taken classes: Intro to Visual Arts, 3D Design, and Comp II

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Marq templates;
  • Logos work;
  • Training in Adobe suite programs;
  • Help assist our photographer on photoshoots;
  • Grab photos of events for social media/story posts;
  • Create plasma screens and marquee slides;
  • Other duties as assigned to assist employees in the Office of
    Communications and Marketing;
  • Have basic knowledge of design;
  • Staff the Communications and Marketing front desk.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word;
  • Have a passion for design;
  • Be creative;
  • Be organized;
  • Complete projects in a timely manner;
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week, concentrated M-F during regular business hours, with the potential for some nights and weekends to cover special events;
  • Staff the Communications and Marketing front desk;
  • Able to follow directions & take critique.
