This position is contingent upon contract award.


Position Overview 

Hatalom Corporation is seeking a Graphic Designer to support the Marine Corps University (MCU), College of Distance Education and Training (CDET). The Graphic Designer will create engaging visual content that enhances online learning, supports curriculum development, and promotes CDET programs across multiple digital learning platforms. This position works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs), and government stakeholders to develop graphics, multimedia, and user interfaces for educational and outreach initiatives. 

Responsibilities 

  • Design graphics and visual materials that support instructional objectives and learner engagement.  
  • Collaborate with SMEs and Instructional Systems Designers to develop effective instructional graphics.  
  • Create graphics and multimedia products for MarineNet, Moodle, mobile applications, and other learning management systems.  
  • Design user-friendly graphical interfaces for web-based and mobile courseware.  
  • Produce and edit digital photography, video, audio, and other multimedia content.  
  • Capture, edit, and integrate visual media into online training products.  
  • Develop creative materials supporting CDET marketing and outreach initiatives.  
  • Coordinate imagery and video collection with Marine Corps Public Affairs and other government organizations.  
  • Research and obtain imagery from authorized government repositories and approved image databases.  
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide graphic design expertise throughout course development.  

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Multimedia Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).  
  • Three (3) or more years of professional graphic design experience.  
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat.  
  • Experience creating graphics and multimedia for digital or web-based environments.  
  • Knowledge of photography, video production, and multimedia editing techniques.  
  • Strong visual design, layout, typography, and communication skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.  
  • Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (Secret) clearance.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government programs.  
  • Familiarity with MarineNet, Moodle, or other Learning Management Systems.  
  • Experience developing instructional graphics or eLearning content.  
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.  
  • Experience creating marketing and outreach materials for educational or government organizations

Security Requirements 

  • U.S. Citizenship required. 
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (Secret) clearance
