Interior Designer
ASR International Corporation Location: Puget Sound - Bremerton Area, WA Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary ASR International Corporation is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to provide Design Technical Support services in support of NAVFAC Northwest. The successful candidate will support planning, design, and construction projects by developing interior design solutions, finish schedules, furniture plans, and related documentation for Department of Defense facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop room finish schedules, finish plans, finish boards, and furniture plans.
  • Perform best-value determinations and coordinate collateral equipment.
  • Prepare interior design documentation using Revit and related software.
  • Review design submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for compliance with applicable codes, UFC criteria, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams, government stakeholders, and project managers.
  • Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and presentation materials.
  • Support weekly status reporting and project documentation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
  • Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
  • Completion of a program accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or equivalent.
  • National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification or current state licensure, certification, or registration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing interior design tasks for facilities projects.
  • Must not be affiliated with a furniture dealership, vendor, or manufacturer.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting NAVFAC, DoD, or other federal design projects.
  • Familiarity with UFC criteria and federal design standards.
