Job description

Ravenwood Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented Restaurant Server to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Servers will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Essential Functions:
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and make recommendations when needed.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately.
  • Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions, accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down tables as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Work as a team with other staff to ensure smooth service. Can work jointly as well as independently with little supervision from management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Basic understanding of restaurant service
  • Understanding of proper use of major kitchen equipment, polishing and setting tables.
  • Understanding and knowledge of food safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • English language and professional communications skills are required.
  • Ability to take complete direction
  • Ability to work in a team environment or alone.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a high energy environment.
  • Must have problem solving abilities; be self-motivated, clean and organized.
