Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesData Center Construction Electrical General Foreman Responsibilities: Lead field staff & subcontractor compliance with project safety program requirements; ensures that weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks are completed; ensures that corrective measures are implemented. Assists the Safety Department in performing incident and/or accident investigations and follow-up.Qualifications
  • Data Center construction experience desired but not required if a candidate has new construction experience. 
  • Knowledge of Lean Construction principles preferred however not required if the candidate is receptive to participating in Miller's Learning Institute.  
  • Plans and supervises activities including determining method of construction, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and work schedule.
  • Monitor productivity and cost codes weekly reviewing results with the Project Manager. 
  • Communicates site problems, conflicts, schedule and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner.
  • Understands all subcontractors' scopes; assures subcontractors maintain schedules, and quality standards meet contract requirements. 
  • Support assigned foreman with required execution plan to include; manpower levels, productivity, material quantities and equipment. 
  • Communicates site problems, conflicts, schedule and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner.
  • Assist the  Project Manager with the identification of "out of scope" changes seeking authorization and  approval of changes. 
  • Supervise, mentor and motivate employees working on designated scope.
