The Aviators are in their seventh season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Athletics. The Aviators home games are played at Las Vegas Ballpark in the master planned community, Summerlin, Nevada, a community in Las Vegas.

About The Role

The Flight Crew assists the Game Entertainment Director with pre-game responsibilities which include checking in the first pitches, VIPs and little league teams.

What You Will Do

  • Interact with fans to raise the level of excitement and enthusiasm for the action on the field.

  • Award prizes and vouchers to promotional winners and fans exiting the stadium.

  • Sign up contestants for in-game promotions.

  • Coordinate on-field games, recognition ceremonies, check presentations, etc.

  • Transport boxes and items needed for on-field promotions to and from the office.

  • Inventory game entertainment materials and alert the Game Entertainment Director if items need to be restocked.

  • Game day and off property duties.

  • Assist with the set-up, execution, break-down, and maintenance of game-day events and/or promotions.

  • Follow and execute relevant tasks on daily game script.

  • Select contestants and execute on-field and on-camera promotions

  • Leads the crowd in cheers and rallies from the top of the dugout.

  • Shadow mascots during game time and off Property events.

  • Assist in events at the Las Vegas Ballpark and off Property

  • Comfortable in front of and being filmed on camera to promote the Las Vegas Aviators Brand

  • Other duties as directed.

About You

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Customer service experience preferred.

  • Showcase an outgoing and energetic personality.

  • Deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, tact, friendliness and poise.

  • Must be energetic and love interacting with people.

  • Must be comfortable in front of large crowds.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs waist high, and able to assist with set up of tables and chairs for other events as directed.

  • Ability to work 90% of Las Vegas Aviators home games between April and September.

  • Attend pre-event meetings and other trainings as required by management.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Work in a fast-paced, busy environment with environmental conditions such as heat, rain and wind

  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.

  • Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: starting at $14 per hour
