We support individuals and small businesses in navigating complex U.S., French, and international tax environments, ensuring compliance while optimizing financial outcomes.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Tax Accountant eager to develop hands-on experience in U.S. accounting and taxation while leveraging a French accounting background.

This role is ideal for candidates trained in French accounting, cabinet comptable, or PCG, who wish to grow their career in an international environment covering U.S. and cross-border operations.

You will work with small businesses and individuals, both domestic and international, under the guidance of experienced tax and accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general bookkeeping and monthly write-ups for clients
  • Reconcile bank and company accounts
  • Review and analyze clients’ financial statements
  • Prepare outsourced bookkeeping for small business clients
  • Prepare sales tax returns
  • Process payroll for clients
  • Assist with preparation of: Individual tax returns, Corporate tax returns, Partnership tax returns

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of accounting or tax experience
  • Experience in a public accounting firm or cabinet comptable strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
  • French accounting qualification (DUT / BTS Comptabilité, DCG, DSCG) welcomed
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Languages

  • French fluency is a strong plus
  • Professional working proficiency in English required (training provided for U.S. standards)
