Job description

Phantom Fireworks, the industry leader in retail sales of consumer fireworks, is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, and customer service–oriented individual to join our Retail Management Team in the showroom!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully stocked environment
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, and manage store employees
  • Ensure compliance with company policies; document and report any infractions
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and make termination recommendations as needed
  • Maintain strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory, and ordering processes
  • Manage inventory levels and oversee post-season returns to the warehouse
  • Inspect rental equipment (generators, trailers/containers) for safety and functionality
  • Handle all cash management duties, including daily balancing, deposits, and reporting to corporate
  • Complete weekly reconciliations (banking, expenses, payroll, petty cash) and track expenses for budgeting
  • Ensure proper staffing levels during peak/seasonal periods
  • Deliver high levels of customer service through product knowledge and team support
  • Assist with permitting, inspections, and required compliance activities
  • Attend required trainings, meetings, and annual conferences (may require travel)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience in retail or operations management
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with cash handling, reporting, and basic financial reconciliation
  • Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a team
