Job Description Legal Assistant - Financial Services Downtown Toronto Hybrid work arrangement Our client, an exceptional law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto is in need of a Legal Assistant to join its team. This position will independently manage and organize the daily operations of a number of busy Financial Services practices. This role is for someone who has the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multitask.

The right candidate should also have an administrative background with a keen interest in financial services. Responsibilities: Edit and organize all necessary transactional documentation Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients Create signature packages for closings Compile Record Books Produce the highest quality of work Handle daily administrative details Manage duties related to accounting Accountable for all work assigned Calendar management, Requirements: Two years previous experience as a legal assistant Successful completion of a related post-secondary Legal Assistant and/or Law Clerk program Handle time pressure and stress of multiple demands Skills: Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications Experience with creating, numbering, styling and rebuilding documents Familiarity using DocuSign and closing folders Good judgement and decision making skills, organized, resourceful and detail oriented.
