Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $75,000/yr - $85,000/yr + 10% Bonus
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description
Addison Group is seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team. This position will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with large data sets, developing actionable insights, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, identifying trends and key business drivers.
  • Develop management reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior period results, providing meaningful variance explanations.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
  • Perform profitability, labor, revenue, and expense analyses to support operational and financial objectives.
  • Assist with commission, incentive compensation, and bonus calculations as needed.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.
  • Validate financial data and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Support compliance requirements, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through process enhancements and automation.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, human resources, and other departments to gather information and provide financial insights.
  • Maintain documentation of financial processes, reporting methodologies, and controls.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience with reporting automation, business intelligence tools, or financial systems is a plus.
