Primary Responsibilities
The Department of Economics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor beginning August 2026. The position is open due to an unexpected departure. We seek candidates with evidence of successful teaching experience in investments and/or corporate finance at either the introductory or upper levels. These courses will support our undergraduate finance major. The finance major is housed in the Department of Economics, which consists of 12 members covering a broad range of fields (including finance) and interests. The typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester consisting of 2 preparations per semester. We are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship in a diverse liberal arts environment.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or ABD's near completion will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Salary
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
