Job Summary
This is a Full-Time Academic (10 months per year) Tenure Track position.
The successful candidate will teach 30 credit hours per academic year in the School of Arts and Sciences using (1) on campus, (2) online (synchronous and asynchronous), and (3) hybrid modalities , including introductory and advanced courses in film studies, film history, and courses in the candidate's areas of specialization.

The successful candidate will teach 30 credit hours per academic year in the School of Arts and Sciences using (1) on campus, (2) online (synchronous and asynchronous), and (3) hybrid modalities , including introductory and advanced courses in film studies, film history, and courses in the candidate's areas of specialization. The candidate will engage in service to the department, the College, and the community. The candidate will promote student success through varies methods and provide advisement to students. The candidate will engage in professional development. The candidate will engage in research, scholarly activities, and/or academic achievement that adds value to (1) the instruction of Film and Entertainment Studies or (2) the College's mission.

  • Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Application Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and relevant business application software packages.
