Job description

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer to work in the Water/Wastewater Division in the Brooksville, FL area. The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of field tasks as assigned by the Project Superintendent and Craft Foreman.
Responsibilities:
  • Layout and surveying
  • Maintaining as-builts
  • Assist with developing work plans
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Material ordering/tracking/logging
  • Reviewing contract documents
  • Submittal development and review
  • Quality control
  • Safety review

Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Survey/Layout knowledge
  • Communication skills

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree.
