Job description

Residential Fenestration InstallerA Day on Our Crew

Picture this: you roll into the shop before 7:00 AM, help load the truck, and head out with the Lead Installer to transform a homeownerโ€™s space with precision-fit replacement windows and doors. You work outdoors and indoors, climb safely when needed, communicate clearly with customers, and wrap up the day by keeping paperwork tidy and the job site spotless. Typical hours run 7:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM, Mondayโ€“Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work based on workload.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist with loading trucks and securing materials for daily projects
  • Install replacement windows and doors at residential job sites
  • Partner with the Lead Installer to complete work safely, on time, and to spec
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation
  • Identify and report any installation or product issues
  • Use hand and power tools daily to remove, set, fasten, insulate, and finish
  • Work on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs when required
  • Perform window repairs and glass replacement as needed
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Assist with training new team members
  • Drive company trucks and trailers safely to and from job sites
What You Bring

  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather
  • Comfort at heights and on ladders up to 30 feet
  • Accurate measurement skills using a tape measure
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
  • Willingness to learn and complete certification training as needed
Preferred Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in window installation, construction or remodeling, exterior finishing/trim work, or glass replacement
  • Experience bending aluminum with a metal brake and capping exterior trim
  • Experience driving pickup trucks, trailers, or box trucks
Physical Demands
  • Lift and carry up to 100 lbs
  • Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing throughout the day
  • Work on ladders and roofs safely
  • Perform physical labor in fast-paced construction environments
Schedule
  • Mondayโ€“Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on workload
