Job description

Position Summary
The Conference Services Manager serves as the primary contact for assigned groups and events following the sales process. This position is responsible for coordinating event details, communicating client needs to hotel departments, and ensuring successful execution of meetings and events while delivering exceptional guest and client service.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned groups and events from turnover through completion.
  • Coordinate and communicate all event details with clients and hotel departments.
  • Prepare event documentation including group resumes, banquet event orders (BEOs), rooming lists, and billing instructions.
  • Monitor room blocks, meeting space, special requests, concessions, and key contractual dates.
  • Partner with Operations, Culinary, Banquets, Front Office, and Sales teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, pre-conference meetings, and post-event reviews.
  • Assist in forecasting group rooms and food and beverage revenue.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, meeting space, food and beverage offerings, and event technology.
  • Utilize sales and catering systems, property management systems, and related technology platforms.
  • Attend client functions and work a flexible schedule as business needs require.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in conference services, event management, catering, hotel sales, or hospitality operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales/catering systems preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
