As an Administrative Assistant - Environmental Services, you will carry out our Mission of Love by providing support for the Environmental Services Department by performing clerical and administrative skills.

Our Administrative Assistant - Environmental Services is responsible for the following:

  • Researches, sources, and orders parts, materials, chemicals, linens, paper goods, and office supplies; prepares purchase requisitions and blanket purchase orders; processes invoices and maintains accurate purchasing records.
  • Accepts and prioritizes work requests; creates and issues work orders; verifies accuracy of maintenance labor and materials; coordinates preventive maintenance activities and records completed tasks.
  • Inputs biweekly schedules; reviews and edits daily time records; compiles attendance data; submits payroll for approval in UKG.
  • Maintains departmental files, including life safety, infection control, SDS documentation, and required federal/state records; collects, organizes, and archives security logs; updates SDS binders.
  • Prepares HR forms for new hires, terminations, and status changes; tracks departmental contracts and uploads them to the corporate database.
  • Performs data entry and word processing; prepares reports, correspondence, and project documentation; compiles operational data such as laundry processing metrics.
  • Tracks employee training requirements and completions; compiles daily sign?in sheets for housekeeping and laundry.
  • Provides administrative assistance across housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and security; performs additional duties as assigned.

What You Need as an Administrative Assistant - Environmental Services:

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Education or experience equal to one year of clerical work, preferably related to maintenance or construction.
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical and electrical terms, materials and procedures.
  • General knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and
  • Good math and reading skills.
  • Professional, diplomatic conduct with sensitivity regarding confidential information.
