Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers.   • 1st Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday
  • Pay: $20.00 - $32.00/hour (depending on experience)

OSP Assistant Engineer is responsible for completing the OSP Engineering field surveys for our telecommunications customers, meeting their quality requirements in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the OSP engineering process from project award through permit closeout and As-Built/Make Ready submittal.
  • Accountable for total project scope and quality control
  • Permitting with state DOTs, cities, counties, railroads, environmental, and other permitting authorities.
  • Make Ready/ As-Built process for aerial construction projects.
  • Take detailed field notes for the design.
  • Document changes of customer specifications.
  • Track & report on job progress.
  • Coordinate activities with pole owners / utilities regarding make-ready submittals, design and construction requirements and activities.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Communication and customer service skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Motivation and self-direction in performing to critical deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires.
