Job description

LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is looking for an Assistant Engineer to join our team. We are a 180+ person civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 10 locations primarily located in western Pennsylvania. LSSE’s projects support public infrastructure and community development. Our clients include local boroughs and townships, water and sewer authorities, industrial and residential land developers, and utility companies.

The candidate will gain experience in the following areas: sanitary sewer assessment; environmental planning and permitting; project budgeting and financial analysis; funding source administration; design and construction of water and sewer infrastructure capital improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience
  • EIT preferred
  • Required to attend evening meetings
  • Candidate will have strong multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, self-motivating
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
