Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and improve outcomes. Your skills and compassion will make a lasting difference for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
  • Supervise and support LPNs, nursing aides, and nursing students.
  • Orient new personnel to the unit and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
  • Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and update them daily.
  • Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and deliver life-saving interventions when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families regarding care progress.
  • Assist with discharge planning and coordinate with case managers, social workers, and home health personnel.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with institutional, legal, and professional standards.
  • Remain prepared to respond to patient emergencies with professionalism and stability.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current RN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or Compact Multistate Licensure.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS, and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong communication skills; must read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work effectively under high-pressure and emergency conditions.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Two or more years of professional nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead patient care teams and mentor peers.
