Job Description

This position will report directly to Terrence Kelleman (Founder, President, and Chief Creative Officer) and should respect and personify the principles of the Dynomighty culture. The E-Commerce Manager will have 1-2 direct reports and work closely with Marketing, Operations, Creative Production and 3rd party Design & Programming resources.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

 

Content administration and E-Commerce platform tools

  • Responsible for overall dynomighty.com and mightywallets.com (and subsidiary international micro-sites) customer experience and usability as the lead for E-Commerce & Site Functionality and feature implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve site experience through new technology and site enhancements.
  • Optimize customer experience and site conversion by analyzing consumer behavior and key metrics (shopping cart abandonment, AOS, units per order) and applying insights to future site initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional team and 3rd party partners to develop features and functionality for the site, including future personalization tools.
  • Partner with Dynomighty Digital Marketing & Content Manager on social media program integration.
  • Develop requirements for content management systems, and 3rd Party software used to maintain site (i.e. content and product management systems).
  • Responsible for all merchandise based site updates.
  • Oversee Dynomighty Customer Service ensuring tonality and overarching customer objectives are met.
  • Support Marketing/Content Manager and future international E-Commerce sites with best practices in online marketing, customer experience, site functionality
  • Research industry best practices to maintain optimal site experience, conversion and average order size.


Site testing and order processing:

  • QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT): test site and verify content to assure that product updates and order exports are functioning properly and to identify bugs.
  • Maintain best online security and fraud protection through the use of third party notification systems, Merchant Services settings for address verification, and other leading site monitoring software.
  • Manage efficient transfer of orders and prompt fulfillment through 3rd party warehouse fulfillment center.
  • Works with in-house and 3rd party developers/IT to ensure hosting, domain registration and provides projections to anticipate seasonal, and other site infrastructure needs are in place.


Analytics

  • Work with our Financial Analyst to evolve ongoing reports that measure online financial performance of the site utilizing software such as Google Analytics, Quickbooks CMS and other 3rd party software.
  • Conduct analysis of overall site functionality and performance through Google Analytics, online customer surveys and other leading industry tools to recommend and implement changes to site flow, design, functionality, and organization.
Qualifications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE:

  • At least 3 years E-Commerce experience with demonstrated administrative capabilities in content management systems, E-Commerce platforms and tools, order processing & fulfillment and 3rd party software (analytics, email, social media)
  • Highly organized with excellent (visual and written) communication skills and a collaborative nature.
  • A strong desire to be a part of a creative, entrepreneurial environment with a solid work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated but also a great team player.
