Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the School of Human Ecology as a Lab Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
  • Works with instructors in lab classes, assisting with student questions about CAD or Adobe software and technology
  • Helps with course prep, organize lab supplies, maintain labs, and help students with printing and scanning
  • Assists the department with other jobs as they occur, such as organization, marketing, and website work

Shift Specifics
  • Up to 10 hours per week
  • Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a design or art related field

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with CAD and Adobe Suite

Proposed Salary
$10.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
