Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship
Summary:
  • You will be the Material Handler for the Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Team supporting Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Gen III program which is responsible for providing warehouse and inventory management services to support maintenance depot operations.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • As the Material Handler you will be responsible for ensuring the right parts are where they are needed, keeping inventory accurate, and enabling the depot to stay mission-ready.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Receive, break down, and distribute material from the Local Distribution Center.
  • Sort and place material into designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL) and perform inventory using a Windows tablet.
  • Research alternate locations and transfer material between BSLs to close work stoppages and empty bins.
  • Identify and process Shelf Life items and Electro-static Discharge (ESD) sensitive devices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal customers across multiple facilities.
  • Position is labor intensive, and selected candidate will be on their feet a majority of the shift.
  • Certain areas in the worksite require PPE;
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in Warehousing and/or Customer Service Experience
  • 2+ years of experience proficiently operating handheld barcode scanners and/or Windows tablet
  • personal Safety shoes required
